WRC Board Election Results & Upcoming Board Meeting

Dear Colleagues,

We write to report the result of the special election for the WRC Governing Board. There was one nominee for the relevant seat. By rule, the nominee is therefore elected by acclamation.

The open A/B Category Seat will be held by Rachel Duffy, Director of Trademark Licensing at Syracuse University. Before joining Syracuse last year, Rachel worked with the University of Delaware and with her alma mater, Boise State University.

We are very pleased to welcome Rachel to the board and look forward to working with her in this new role.

Rachel’s board service will begin with the Board’s upcoming meeting on Friday, October 25, on the Georgetown University campus in Washington, DC. As with all of our board meetings, all of our university representatives are invited to join us as observers.
